Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the nation in the 128th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program on Sunday (30 November), said that the month of November was full of many historic and inspirational achievements for India. He said that on the occasion of Constitution Day on November 26, a special program was organized in the Central Hall of Parliament, which again reminded the country of democratic values.
The Prime Minister said that this month, on the completion of 150 years of Vande Mataram, grand programs started across the country. Along with this, he also mentioned historical events like the hoisting of the Dharma flag in the Ram temple complex in Ayodhya and the inauguration of the Panchjanya memorial at Jyotisar in Kurukshetra. The Prime Minister said that the world’s largest LEAP engine MRO facility was inaugurated in Hyderabad, which will give India a new strength in global aviation. Apart from this, INS ‘Mahe’ was included in the Indian Navy, which will further increase maritime security capabilities.
What did PM Modi say on space sector?
Talking about the space sector, he said that India’s emerging space ecosystem has received a big boost. Private company Skyroot’s ‘Infinity Campus’ has demonstrated India’s new flight and the power of innovation to the world. PM Modi said that these successes have been possible on the basis of new thinking, innovation and youth power of the country.
INS ‘Mahe’ inducted into Indian Navy
PM Modi said, “INS ‘Mahe’ was inducted into the Indian Navy in Mumbai. There was a lot of discussion among some people about its indigenous design. At the same time, people of Puducherry and Malabar Coast became happy with its name. In fact, it has been named ‘Mahe’ after the place Mahe, which has a rich historical heritage.
Many people in Kerala and Tamil Nadu have noticed that the crest of this warship looks like the traditional flexible sword of Urumi and Kalaripayadu. It is a matter of pride for all of us that our Navy is rapidly moving towards self-reliance.
“India made record with food grain production of 357 million tonnes”
PM Modi further said, “India has created a historic record with food grain production of 357 million tonnes. India’s food grain production has increased by 100 million tonnes compared to 10 years ago.”
Winter tourism is attracting people in Uttarakhand
The Prime Minister said that winter tourism in Uttarakhand is attracting a lot of people in this season. Places like Auli, Munsiyari, Chopta and Deyara are becoming very popular among tourists at present.
He said that the state’s first High Altitude Ultra Run Marathon was organized at Adi Kailash at an altitude of more than 14,500 feet in Pithoragarh district. More than 750 athletes from 18 states of the country participated in this competition. The Prime Minister described it as a big achievement for tourism and sports activities of the state.
