Murder in Telangana: The Gachiibauli police of Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, have revealed a shocking ancestral murder case. In this case, 19 -year -old son Ravinder killed his 37 -year -old father Hanmant in an online gambling dispute. The incident took place on Tuesday (July 1) in a deserted area of ​​NTR Nagar, Hyderabad, where the accused took his father to the surprise. The son blindfolded his father and made a deadly attack in the neck with a knife already kept. Hanmant, who was injured after a stab on the neck and before his death, ran for about 100 meters, after which he fell and collapsed there.

Online betting addiction was stolen from home 2.5 lakh rupees

The victim Hanmant was originally a resident of Kothulkunta village of Ghanpur division of Vanparti district of Telangana and lived with family in NTR Nagar in Gaundapalli for employment. According to Police Inspector Habibullah Khan, Ravinder recently lost 2.5 lakh rupees from the house in the addiction of online betting apps. Family tension had increased when the father repeatedly inquired about the money. Ravinder gave false assurance to the father that he would bring back the money, but instead he planned to murder under a well thought out conspiracy.

Claims to commit suicide after killing father

After the murder, Ravinder called relative Baba Ramesh and claimed that the father had committed suicide. The body was taken to Grihagram Kothulkunta after filling the family, where preparations for the funeral started. However, on receiving the information from the Gachyibauli police, the Ghanpur police station ordered to bring the body back with support. The police warned the family that a case would be registered against everyone for performing the funeral. In the investigation, Ravinder was arrested for confessing to the murder. Inspector Habibulla Khan confirmed that the accused has been sent to judicial custody and further action is going on.

House land was pledged and took loans by 6 lakh rupees

This incident presents a serious glimpse of the increasing problem of online gambling and the family crises associated with it. Police said that Hanmant had recently taken a loan of Rs 6 lakh by mortgaging his land, out of which the amount stolen by Ravinder became the main reason for his financial crisis. The victim’s wife Jamulamma and younger son Santosh are saddened by this sad incident.
