The central government on Thursday (July 24, 2025) has clarified on the question of Samajwadi Party MP in the Rajya Sabha that the operation vermilion was started in response to the Pakistan -sponsored terror attack and the ceasefire was decided not under any international pressure, but on the request of Pakistan.
Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman had asked the question in the Rajya Sabha whether it was true that the operation of Operation Sindoor was made under international pressure and suddenly the ceasefire announcement has led to the morale of the army, while the operation was getting great successes in the operation.
Clean, accurate and non-respective military action
In response to this, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirtivardhan Singh gave a written reply that Operation Sindoor was India’s clean, accurate and non-respective military action, which aims to destroy the structure supporting the border terrorism and end the terrorists before entering India.
At the same time, the government said that where India’s action was not going to spoil the situation and the situation was not going to spoil the situation. At the same time, Pakistan tried to target not only military bases, but also the Indian civilian areas, in response to which the Indian Army responded strong and decisive, which caused a big loss to the Pakistani Army.
Pakistan Director General of Military recommended
According to the reply of the Minister of State for External Affairs, on 10 May 2025, the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of Pakistan had contacted the Indian equivalent officer i.e. Indian DGMO and requested to stop military action and ceasefire, after considering which India agreed to ceasefire.
India’s action in Operation Sindoor
Let us tell you on 7 May, India targeted a total of 9 terrorist bases located in Pakistan and PoK, in which more than 100 terrorists of Lashkar -e -Taiba, Jaish -e -Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen died. The slain militants also included Masood Azhar’s relative and Kandahar plane hijack accused Yusuf Azhar and Hafiz Mohammad Mohammad Zamil, head of the headquarters at Bahawalpur, Jaish -e -Mohammed.
Apart from this, India not only impacted them by strike on a total of 13 airbase including Pakistan’s Nurkhan Airbase, Bholeri Airbase, Sargodha Airbase in four days of struggle, but Rahim Yar Khan Airbase of Pakistan is not in use even after two and a half months of the strike today.
