Till now, 28 percent GST was applicable on the scooty of 110 cc and 125 cc segment, due to which their price was relatively high. But under the new rule, GST has been reduced to 18 percent from today. Its direct benefit will be given to middle class families who are the biggest buyers of this category scooters.

The ex-showroom price of this scooty was Rs 83,213 till now. After adding registration, insurance and accessories, its on-road price reached Rs 1,02,500. After the GST deduction, its ex-showroom price will be reduced by about Rs 6,000 from today and the on-road price will get a relief of about Rs 7,500.

This means that customers can now buy this scooty at a very low price than before. Honda Scooty remains a pocket-friendly option for middle class families, especially women, due to 110 cc mileage and low maintenance costs.

The on-road price of this scooty was Rs 1,25,386 till now. Under the new rules, its price will be reduced by about Rs 12,000. Honda Activa Smart 125 cc mileage has been the favorite scooty of middle class families in terms of comfort and trust. After the GST cut, it will become scooty and economical, so that customers can easily take it home for less money.

The local 18 team visited the Honda showroom near Sasaram and interacted with the sales manager Tabrez Khan. Tabrej Khan said that the interest of customers will increase after the GST cuts and there is a possibility of good increase in sales of these scooters during the festive season. He said that this step of the government is not only relieved for the common consumers but will also give a new speed to the two-wheeler market.
