Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, owners of Goa’s popular night club ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’, have been detained in Thailand. The first picture related to this has also surfaced, in which those people are seen in the custody of Thailand Police. His hands are tied and he is standing with his passport. According to reports, this action has been taken after the Blue Corner Notice issued by Interpol. Earlier, the Foreign Ministry had also suspended the passports of both, due to which the action on the matter became more intense.
The hearing of the transit anticipatory bail petitions was held on Wednesday (10 December 2025), in which the lawyer appearing for the Luthra brothers claimed in the court that his clients were not absconding. He said that both of them had gone to Thailand only for a business meeting. This journey was in no way an attempt to avoid investigation or run away from the law.


Process expedited to bring it to Goa
Now the administrative stir in India has intensified regarding Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, owners of Goa’s famous nightclub ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’, who have been detained from Thailand. According to sources, the Goa government can call a high level meeting at any time, in which top officials of the state will participate. This meeting will focus on the deportation of Luthra Brothers and the arrest strategy after bringing them to India.
Nightclub co-owner’s statement
According to PTI, Ajay Gupta, one of the co-owners of Goa’s ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub, when brought to the recovery and anti-kidnapping cell of Delhi Crime Branch on Wednesday (December 10, 2025) in connection with the fire incident, said that he is only a partner. Sources said Gupta was evading investigators after the arson incident in North Goa’s Arpora area on December 6. A source said, “A Look Out Circular (LOC) was issued against Gupta after the Goa Police initially failed to locate him in Delhi.
