In Delhi NCR, CBI has registered 22 cases in the case of great fraud with those who buy homes. Also, 47 locations of Delhi-NCR have been raided. This action has been taken against those builders and financial institutions, who are accused of implicating and fraudulent in the name of the scheme.
Thousands of homebeekers, who were earlier troubled by the fraud of the builders and later upset the recovery action of financial institutions, had knocked on the Supreme Court. The court found that there was a untoward nexus between the builders and financial companies, through which people were implicated in the name of subvention scheme.
22 separate cases registered
In April 2025, the Supreme Court ordered the CBI to start a 7 preliminary inquiry into the case. In just three months, the CBI completed 6 investigations and submitted the report to the court. After this, the court ordered to register 22 separate cases. The CBI raided 47 locations including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. Many documents and digital evidence have been seized during this period. The investigation is currently on.

Recovery agent sent for not filling EMI
The homebires alleged that the builders took money from the projects in the name of the projects, but did not give the flats on time. At the same time, the financial institutions approved the loans through the subvention scheme and sent the recovery agents for not filling the EMI. A serious disturbance was found in this whole case. CBI is now investigating financial documents and bank transactions in these cases. CBI says that there may be more revelations in this case in the coming days.
