Foeticide Racket Bust: Inter -State Feticide gang busted in Andhra Pradesh, sting operation revealed, know the whole matter

The Health Department of Karnataka has busted a big female feticide gang in a joint operation with Andhra Pradesh officials. Based on secret information, a decoy operation was conducted on 2 September at Basha Nursing Home in Kodumur in Kodumur in Kurnool district, in which agents were caught red handed while determining illegal sex.

Let me tell you that this case came to light when a 30 -year -old woman from Malwalli in Mandya district who is already a mother of three daughters, was being planned to assassinate her fetus. During the regular health check -up, when ASHA workers were suspected, the woman then gave information about the agents.

Sting operation revealed truth
In the sting operation, an agent named Sitamma made an ultrasound deal for Rs 7,500 and even offered illegal abortion for Rs 20,000. The officials confirmed the transaction by giving a pre-marked note. Sitamma also said that there is a plan to include an RMP doctor in Gontakal to get an abortion.

Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, taking a tough stand in this matter, said that female feticide is a social curse. The society has to be aware and eliminate it completely.

What did the Health Minister say
The Health Minister said that our government is fully cautious about the illegal feticide gang. Some doctors and agents together run their network. They have an organized operation. In view of this, I have instructed the officials to take full vigilance in such cases and take the strict action.

At present, this matter has been handed over to the officials of Andhra Pradesh for further investigation. This action will now be taken under the PCPNDT Act.
