Fake voter controversy in Telangana, serious allegations against Congress in Jubilee Hills by-election, BRS will go to High Court

The case of fake voters in Jubilee Hills constituency of Telangana has created a political storm. Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti (BRS) has decided to take a tough stand in this matter and approach the High Court.

BRS working president KTR had filed a complaint with the State Election Commissioner accusing the Congress party of adding fake voters in Jubilee Hills with the connivance of Booth Level Officers (BLOs). As no response was received despite the expiry of the 24-hour deadline, the party has now chosen the path of legal action.

Questions on Election Commission in Karnataka and Maharashtra

BRS has made serious allegations against Congress that the government has rigged the voter list in collusion with lower level officials. In a viral video, the BJP leader said, ‘Rahul Gandhi ji, you raise questions on the Election Commission in Bihar, Karnataka and Maharashtra, but in Telangana your government is distributing fake voter IDs. Three votes in one house, duplicate entries in the names of relatives of your candidates, why don’t you answer this?

tampering with the electoral process

Party workers made shocking revelations after door-to-door investigation in Jaipur Hills. A house was found in booth number 125, where the owner did not have information about even a single registered voter. BJP termed it as ‘non-existent vote’ and termed it as tampering with the electoral process. In another case, several votes were found in the name of his relatives in house number 118, which reportedly belongs to a Congress leader.

BJP claimed that voters from Nagarkurnool and Sircilla were shifted to Jaipur Hills without their knowledge. A leader said, ‘Two, three votes of the same person are recorded. This is clear evidence of the collusion between Congress and BLO.

‘I was forced to knock the door of the High Court’

BRS raised questions not only on the Congress but also on the working style of the Election Commission. In another video, the party leader sarcastically said, ‘We are a political party, yet we can detect so many irregularities by going door-to-door in 24-48 hours. The Election Commission has all the powers and resources, then why can’t they catch all this? They should do their work properly, for this they get paid.

The party said that after filing the complaint, the Commission only assured that ‘there will be an investigation’, but even after 24 hours no concrete action was taken. The BJP leader said, ‘We are forced to go to the High Court. We will file a petition and demand to clear the list of fake voters and take action against the culprits,’

Congress did not respond to the allegations

BRS made it clear that if action is not taken against the Commission or the guilty officials, it will be a threat to democracy. The party will file a petition in the High Court on Wednesday (October 14, 2025) morning seeking instructions in this matter. On the other hand, Congress has not yet given any official statement on these allegations.
