British Airways’ Boeing 787 plane had to make an emergency landing in Nagpur due to a technical fault. On Tuesday (February 24), a British Airways flight going from London to Hyderabad had to land at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur. According to the information, there were a total of 169 passengers on the plane and all are safe.
Permission not granted in Hyderabad
British Airways’ Boeing 787 was going from London to Hyderabad, but due to bad weather in Hyderabad, permission to land was not given. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the pilot diverted the plane towards Nagpur. Contacted air traffic control and asked for permission for emergency landing. The plane was landed safely after getting permission from Nagpur ATC.
After seeking permission for emergency landing of the plane, the administration also put all the systems on high alert. This incident happened at around 5.30 in the morning. Earlier, all 7 people including the doctor and the patient had died in the air ambulance accident that took place on Monday evening in Chatra, Jharkhand.
Aircraft crashed in Chatra forest
The air ambulance was taking a patient from Ranchi to Delhi. The patient’s family decided to take the patient to Delhi for advanced treatment. The air ambulance took off from Ranchi airport at 7.10 pm. After that, contact with the aircraft was lost at 7.34 pm. The last contact was with Kolkata Air Control. According to Varanasi Air Traffic Control, this aircraft did not contact them. Later it was revealed that the aircraft crashed in a forest in Chatra.
Pawan Hans helicopter crash in Andaman
A Pawan Hans helicopter crashed in Andaman on Tuesday morning. It crashed into the sea shortly after takeoff. At least seven people were on board the aircraft, they have been rescued safely. The helicopter was going from Port Blair to Mayabunder. The pilot discovered the technical fault only after take-off, so he had the option of crash-landing in the sea. Passengers and crew members suffered minor injuries in this incident. No one was seriously injured.
