E-scooter market’s new ‘King’, Ola-TVS became the best

New Delhi. Bajaj Chetak’s sting is playing in the electric scooter market. Bajaj Chetak beat Ola, TVS and Ether in March 2025 to become the most selling e-bookter. Bajaj recorded a record retail sale of 34,863 units. That is, 1,124 Chetak scooters were sold every day in March. With this sale, 2,30,761 Chetak Scooters were sold in the financial year 2025, which is 116% more than the previous financial year. In March, the TVS motor company finished second with 30,453 units and Ola had to be satisfied in third place.

Bajaj Auto retained the top position in the electric two-wheeler industry for the second consecutive month. The company finished number 1 for the first time in December 2024. After this, it stood first in February. The company’s market share increased from 11% of FY2024 to 20% in the financial year 2025. In the last four months, the new 35 series models contributed significantly to increase sales.

1,24,443 e-settlers sold

In March 2025, the top 10 electric two -wheelers (E2W) manufacturers sold 1,24,443 units. Bajaj Auto, TVS, Ola and Ather, a total of 1,04,192 units sold which is 80% of the total sales.

TVS Motor sold 30,453 e-skills
TVS Motors finished second in March 2025 in terms of sales. TVS IQUBE sold 30,453 units in March 2025. With this, its market share increased to 23%. In FY2025, TVS sold a total of 2,37,551 units, which is 30% higher than the previous financial year. In the financial year 2024, there was a difference of 76,565 units between TVS and Bajaj Auto, which fell to only 6,790 units in FY2025.

Ola stood third in March
Ola Electric, which was the leader of the EV market for the third consecutive year, stood at 18% market share in March 2025 with a sale of 23,430 units. In January 2025, Ola was number 1, but in February it slipped to fourth place. OLA again moved to third place due to improvement in sales in March.
