The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has conducted two successful flight tests of the ‘Holocaust’ missile from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island, away from Odisha coast on Monday 28 July and Tuesday 29 July. These tests were part of the user assessment tests and the minimum limit capabilities were to verify.
According to the DRDO, both missiles followed their prescribed projection path accurately and made accurate attacks at the prescribed target points. Performance during the tests met all the test objectives, which confirmed the operation’s readiness and reliability of the system.
What is the specialty of this missile?
Explain that the Holocaust is a short distance ballistic missile (SRBM), which is specially designed for the use of battlefield, which will further increase the strength of the Indian land and Air Force. Range: This missile, developed by DRDO, has a firepower of 150 to 500 kilometers, which is effective in targeting both tactical and strategic places.
Fuel and speed: The Holocaust missile has a solid fuel rocket motor, which will increase its speed as soon as it is launched. Together, its speed can be cured by its speed, which makes it very difficult to stop it.
Mobility: The Holocaust can be deployed in sensitive border areas. It has been developed for traditional attacks under India’s nuclear policy. These missiles can also give powerful response to the use of nuclear weapons.
India’s indigenous missile Holocaust has so much strength that it is effective in responding to the enemy even without nuclear weapons and attacks accurate targets.
