Earthquake Rattles andaman Sea: In the Andaman Sea on Tuesday afternoon, the area trembled due to the rapid tremors of the earthquake. According to the National Earthquaker Center (NCS), the earthquake was felt on June 24 at around 3:47 pm Indian time (IST). The intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale was measured 5.2.
The NCS reported that the origin of the earthquake was at a depth of 61 km above sea level, making it relatively deep and less disastrous. The episode of the earthquake was located at 8.97 ° northern latitude and 94.24 ° Eastern longitude in the Andaman Sea. At present, there is no official confirmation of the loss of any kind of life and property, but the local administration has become alert after the earthquake.
Earthquake tremors were felt in Haryana on Monday
Earlier, light tremors were felt on Monday night in Rewari district of Haryana. According to the Indian Seismic Science Center, the intensity of the earthquake was measured 2.5 on the Richter scale and its center was within the Rewari region. There was no damage due to earthquake. Some of the locals felt the shock, but most of it did not know about it. According to scientists, earthquakes with 2.5 or less intensity are usually not harmful and their effect is also in a limited area.
