bengal assembly elections
West Bengal elections are going to be the most challenging for Congress. The party has formed a team of big leaders to find its lost ground here. In the last assembly elections, Congress had fielded its candidates on 92 seats in Bengal, but not a single candidate could win. At present Congress does not have a single seat in Bengal. In Bengal, Congress has made Sudip Rai Burman, Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Prakash Joshi as observers. To re-establish the organization in the state and strengthen the network up to the booth level, three senior leaders have been made observers.

Senior leader Mukul Wasnik and Telangana leader Uttam Kumar Reddy have been given an important role in coordination and seat sharing with allies in Tamil Nadu.
