The Assam Police has taken a big action in the case of singer Zubeen Garg’s death. He arrested composer Shekharjyoti Goswami and singer Amritprabha Mahant on Thursday (October 2). The police were interrogating these two for several days. Zubeen died on September 19 in Singapore under suspicious circumstances. The police had earlier arrested two more people.
According to the report of ‘PTI’, the police said that Goswami and Mahant have been arrested after several days of questioning. A case has been registered against both of them under various sections of the Code of Justice of India (BNS). Munna Prasad Gupta, Special DGP of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Assam Police, said that the court has sent both the persons to 14 days police custody.
