Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi opposed the bill removing PM, CM and ministers. She raised the question that until all government investigative agencies (CBI, ED) are not appointed independently, they will work under the Center. Citing the Constitution, he also asked how the President working on the advice of the Council of Ministers can remove a Prime Minister. He asked if the President can resign from a Prime Minister? Owaisi described it as a step hitting the original article of the Constitution.
Conspiracy to capture the whole country- Owaisi
Owaisi counted several flaws in the 130th Constitution Amendment. He said that the 130th amendment is a strategy to capture the entire country and this is not a good sign. He said that the central government will take advantage of this and start arresting ministers to topple the government. He demanded the government that he should ensure that you talk about morality, then why not make such a law that whatever is caught is not included in the BJP.
Owaisi raised questions on Bihar SIR
Owaisi also targeted the Election Commission regarding Bihar SIR. He said, “The media reported that in 2002-2003, when the SIR was done in the Election Commission in seven states, it lasted for 243 days. This time the SIR that happened was only 97 days.”
He said, “At that time there was no evidence of citizenship from those who were already in the voter list. Today the entire process is being done in only 97 days. The people whose names did not come, may not be checked by political parties, but it is the responsibility of the Election Commission. The Election Commission cannot check for citizenship.
