Addressing Parliament, on Tuesday (July 29, 2025), Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted the opposition and said that the Congress has always tied up on National Security. Today, those who are asking why PoK is not taken back, then before that the askers will have to answer whose government gave the opportunity to capture PoK to Pakistan?
PM Modi said, ‘Congress’s fleshy dropped the morale of the army. India got support from all over the world, but the brave soldiers of the country did not get the support of the Congress. 3-4 days after the terrorist attack on 22 April, they started jumping and saying, where did the 56-inch chest go, where did Modi go?
Opposition raising questions on Operation Sindoor
The Prime Minister further said that these people were also looking for politics in the killing of innocent people of Pahalgam. He was disappointing me for his selfish politics. They neither trust the power of India nor on the army of India, so they are constantly questioning the operation vermilion.
The country has been suffering till today, the decisions taken since independence. Between 1962 and 1963, Congress leaders proposed to leave Poonch, Puri and Kishanganga of Jammu and Kashmir, which was being done in the name of ‘Line of Peace’. If there was a little understanding in the government of that time, then it could have been decided to withdraw PoK.
Referred to 26/11 attack
He further said that nowadays people of Congress who are teaching us the diplomacy lesson, I want to remind them their diplomacy. After a fierce attack like 26/11, there was a very big terrorist attack, the Congress did not stop in love with Pakistan. Within a few weeks of the attack under foreign pressure, the Congress government started talking to Pakistan.
The PM said that on the one hand the country was seeking justice for the attack of Mumbai, on the other hand the Congress was doing business from Pakistan. Molesting India’s interests has been the Congress habit, the biggest example of which was the Indus Water Agreement.
