Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday (July 30, 2025) targeted the Congress in the Rajya Sabha and said that it gave some part of Kashmir to Pakistan and the BJP government would bring back Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK). With this, he claimed that a Hindu could never be a terrorist. He also targeted the Congress to create saffron terrorism discourse after the 2008 Mumbai terror attack.
Shah also said that the Congress has no right to question the BJP about terrorism. He alleged that the Congress has been doing politics of appeasement and while in power, it never adopted a concrete policy to deal with this problem. Shah was responding to the special discussion in the upper house on Operation Sindoor.
Amit Shah attacked Congress
The Home Minister also attacked the Congress to question the foreign policy related to China and said that the opposition party’s love has been going on since the 1960s. He said, “The priority of the Congress is not the security of the country. Its purpose is only vote bank and politics of appeasement. Terrorism has rooted, spread and increased in India. The only reason for this is the politics and weak policies of appeasement of the Congress. ”
Shah said that Operation Sindoor was not stopped at the behest of anyone, but when Pakistan was forced to kneel, his DGMO called and said, “Enough.” He said that this was the first time that people were killed on the basis of religion and it is very sad for them.
Jammu and Kashmir will be free from terrorism- Shah
The Home Minister said, “I want to tell the terrorists through this house. Jammu and Kashmir will be free from terrorism. This is the resolve of Modi ji. Three terrorist who killed 26 innocent people in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has been killed in an encounter under Operation Mahadev and their involvement in this attack has been scientifically certified. ”
