Clash in two groups of AIMIM over Milad-un-Nabi in Boyinapalli, Hyderabad, attacked party office

Two days after the incident, on Tuesday, local party workers attacked and vandalized the local office of AIMIM, causing heavy loss to the property. The police have arrested seven suspects, but the situation still remains critical.

More than 3000 soldiers deployed

This festival, celebrated on September 14 this year, was celebrated in a peaceful manner across the city on 14 September this year, Milad-un-Nabi. The main procession organized by the Markaji Milad procession committee started from Charminar to Mogalpura, in which thousands of devotees attended. The police deployed more than 3000 soldiers here and imposed traffic restrictions, so that there is no major untoward incident.

However, there was a dispute between two AIMIM groups over the arrangement of the stage at the venue in Boyinapalli. Alwal Police Inspector A. Prashant said that the clash took place between two groups of the same community, in which brick-stones went and some people were injured. The police immediately intervened and controlled the situation.

Case filed against both groups

Two days later, on Wednesday, the incident took a more frightening form. The local AIMIM office was attacked by a faction and broke the furniture, burnt documents and damaged the walls. According to eyewitnesses, the attackers shouted slogans and targeted against the party. Police said that 7 people have been arrested by registering a case against both the groups and started investigation.
