‘Chief Minister’s chair out of stock’, BJP took a dig by sharing AI video of DK Shivakumar!

There is a tussle going on between CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar over the post of Chief Minister in the Karnataka Congress government. BJP is taking a dig at this political upheaval. Karnataka BJP has taunted DK Shivakumar by posting a video on Facebook on Tuesday (25 November).

In an Artificial Intelligence (AI) video shared by BJP, DK Shivkumar is seen buying the CM chair from Amazon, but it is written that it is out of stock. Along with this, BJP has written in the caption of the video: DK Shivkumar now.

There is speculation about change of leadership in Karnataka, as the Congress government has reached the halfway point of its 5-year tenure this month. Some people are calling it November Revolution. Shivakumar’s supporters have demanded that he should become the next Chief Minister. After the declaration of Karnataka Assembly election results in 2023, there was a tough contest between Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar for the post of Chief Minister. Congress had then convinced Shivkumar to take over the post of Deputy Chief Minister.

However, some reports at that time claimed that an agreement had been reached on the basis of the rotational chief ministership formula, according to which Shivakumar would become the chief minister of the state two and a half years after Siddaramaiah. These reports were strongly rejected by both the leaders and other party members.

What did Siddaramaiah say?

Siddaramaiah had recently said that due to the decision of the Congress high command, he will remain on the post of Chief Minister for full 5 years. On the other hand, amid the alleged power struggle in Congress, BJP has intensified its attacks on DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah. BJP is taking a dig at both the Congress leaders by posting AI video on X. Siddaramaiah on Tuesday put the responsibility of solving this entire matter on the party high command.
