There has been a big turn in the murder of Conservative activist Charlie Kirk in the US. President Donald Trump said on Friday that a suspect has been arrested for murder. Trump said that the person close to him helped arrest the accused, who handed him over to the police.

Speaking to Fox News, President Donald Trump said, “I sincerely hope that we have caught the right accused. He is in custody. We think we have caught the person whom we were looking for.” According to the New York Post, the suspect of the Charlie Kirk murder case has been identified as Tyler Robinson.
When was Charlie Kirk murdered
31 -year -old Charlie Kirk was addressing students and supporters at Utah Valley University on Wednesday (September 10, 2025), when an unknown assailant shot him. The attack took place during the day and video footage of the incident also surfaced. During that time a large number of people gathered with the slogans of ‘Prove Me Wrong’. The attacker fired from the roof.
Identification and weapon of accused recovered
In videos issued by the FBI, the accused has been described as the age of 20 to 30 years. The accused was wearing a black baseball cap, dark glasses and American flag shirt. The attacker used the Mauzer 30-06 Balt-Action Rifle. The police have recovered this rifle in a nearby forest. Apart from this, marks of hands of the accused have also been found.
