In the Bihar Assembly elections, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won a landslide victory on 202 seats. NDA’s ally Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) also played an important role in this landslide victory. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) led by Union Minister Chirag Paswan had contested 29 seats in the Bihar Assembly elections, out of which it won 19. After the victory, Union Minister Chirag Paswan spoke openly about this to ABP News.
He answered questions regarding his meeting and conversation with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after the election victory. Chirag said that I had only gone to congratulate Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ji and there was no conversation between us.
What did Chirag Paswan say on election victory?
Chirag Paswan said while talking to ABP News, ‘I was exactly talking about this hope. I believed that the unity with which we are all moving forward is clearly leading us to great results. Getting more than 200 seats is a historic victory. The people of Bihar have shown that they do not want to give any chance to RJD.

Speaking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan said, ‘It is a matter of happiness for me. Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji placed faith in a party with a single MP. This is a big thing. Giving 29 seats to a party with practically zero MLAs is a big deal.
In the NDA, an agreement was reached on 29 assembly seats for the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) led by Union Minister Chirag Paswan. Out of which the party won 19 seats. Regarding seat sharing, Chirag Paswan said that I have fulfilled the decorum of the alliance. I was not even talking to the media until there was a complete consensus regarding our seats.

He said that we have come after talks, now we are all one. In such a situation, its such a minister. This is his minister. It’s not like that. We are all completely united. At the same time, regarding participation in the government, he said that neither do I have any expectations nor any ambition.

At the same time, when Union Minister Chirag Paswan was asked about his meeting with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he said, ‘I had only gone to congratulate the Chief Minister. We did not have any conversation during this period. We just came back congratulating the way we have achieved this victory under his leadership. I did not sit with him for very long.

Chirag Paswan said, ‘We contested the elections under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, hence my party is of the opinion that Nitish Kumar should be the Chief Minister again.’ He said that I have no confusion, this is a matter within the alliance, but I am confident that once again Nitish Kumar will come as the CM and we will move forward with the experience of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the next 5 years. There will be many milestones in between, UP elections, before 2030, Modi has to be made PM for the fourth time in 2029.
