Bihar Election Result 2025: What is the result on the seat of the poorest candidates with net worth of Rs 1000? know


The results of Bihar Assembly elections have been announced on Friday (November 14, 2025). This time 2,600 candidates were in the fray. Out of 2,600 candidates, 42 percent or 1,081 candidates have assets worth more than Rs 1 crore, while there are many candidates who have declared net worth of Rs 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 and 6,000 in their affidavits.

One of the poorest candidates has zero assets. Sunil Kumar Chaudhary of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has declared zero assets in his election affidavit. He is contesting from Peerpanti Assembly seat and has studied only till 12th class. They told that neither of them have a job. There is neither any income nor any liability. Sunil Kumar Chaudhary got only 1586 votes.

Mojahid Alam is at number one among the poorest candidates. Mojahid Alam is the candidate of Socialist Unity Center of India (SUCI-C) party and has declared assets worth Rs 1000 thousand. He was contesting from Darbhanga seat. Mojahid Alam got only 345 votes.

At second place is Shatrughan Verma, candidate of Barh assembly seat, he has also declared assets worth Rs 1000. He was contesting the elections from People’s Party of India (Democratic) (PPP-D). He got 404 votes. The third is Suresh Rajvanshi, who has declared assets worth Rs 1,100. He was contesting from Wazirganj seat from Moolvanshi Samaj Party (MSP). He got 1980 votes.

The fourth candidate is from Benipatti assembly seat and he was an independent candidate. His net worth is only Rs 2000. The fifth candidate is Rajmal Prasad. His total assets are Rs 2000 and he was contesting as an independent candidate from Pipra seat. Meenapur seat candidate Shiv Kumar Yadav has total assets worth Rs 2,023 and was contesting from the Socialist Unity Center of India (SUCI-C) party.

The sixth candidate from Makhdumpur seat is Dinesh Paswan, whose net worth is only three thousand rupees. He was contesting elections from Kisan Sangharsh Samiti (KSS) party. The seventh candidate from Katoria seat is Dhena Soren, who was contesting from the Socialist Unity Center of India (SUCI-C) party. His net worth is Rs 4,030. Katoria is a reserved seat.

Harisanth Kumar, candidate from Obra assembly seat, has a total asset of only Rs 5,000 and was contesting as an independent candidate. The richest candidate in this list is Rakesh Ram. His total assets are Rs 6,600 and he was contesting as an independent candidate from Kutumba seat. This is a reserved seat.
