Big blow to Iran amid war, IRGC Intelligence Chief killed in US-Israel attack

Iran has suffered a major setback amid the war between America, Israel and Iran. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence chief Major General Majid Khadmi died in a US-Israeli attack this morning (April 6). Iran has confirmed this. The Israeli Defense Minister has also issued a statement regarding this.

The IRGC has confirmed the death of Major General Majid Khadami, the head of the IRGC’s intelligence organization, in a post on its Telegram channel. The IRGC wrote, ‘Major General Majid Khadami, head of the IRGC’s intelligence organization, was martyred this morning (April 6) in a terrorist attack carried out by the enemy during the American-Israeli attacks.’

Israeli Defense Minister’s statement

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Kartz said that Israel has killed the intelligence chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Who was Majeed Khadmi?

Let us tell you, in June last year, Iran had made Brigadier General Majeed Khadami the head of the intelligence department. He was appointed after his former intelligence chief Mohammad Kazmi and his deputy Hassan Mohaqiq were killed in an Israeli air strike. Apart from this, another top commander Mohsen Bagheri was killed. Before becoming Intelligence Chief, he had been the head of the Intelligence Security Organization in the Defense Ministry of Iran. Khadmi was considered a confidant of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Khadami had long experience in IRGC. He has played an important role in many espionage related activities.

News of ceasefire between US-Iran amid war

On one side, the fire of war is raging and on the other side, news of peace agreement has started emerging again. According to the report, a proposal for ceasefire between America and Israel has been prepared and sent to the negotiators of both the countries. If the ceasefire proposal is agreed to then there can be a ceasefire in 15 to 20 days. A condition for opening the Strait of Hormuz has also been laid down in the proposal. Apart from this, a condition has been laid to stop attacks in the Middle East.

Iran has also given its response to the ceasefire proposal. It was told from Tehran side that ceasefire has been proposed by Pakistan. Iran said that the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened in the temporary ceasefire.
