Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke openly on several issues in an interview to news agency ANI on Monday (August 25, 2025). He spoke openly on the 130th Constitution Amendment Bill, Jagdeep Dhankhar’s resignation from the post of Vice President and being associated with his RSS.
Amit Shah said on the 130th Amendment Bill that when the constitution was formed, the constitution makers would not have imagined such shamelessness that a Chief Minister would go to jail and remain the Chief Minister from jail. The court also understands the seriousness of the law. When someone has to resign after 30 days, before that the court decides whether he should get bail or not.
Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Narendra Modi has brought a constitutional amendment against him that if the Prime Minister goes to jail, he will also have to resign.”
‘Has the country chosen us because we are from RSS?’
On linking the selection of the Vice Presidential candidate of NDA to the RSS, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “The Prime Minister is related to the RSS, I also have a relationship with the RSS. Is the country chosen us because we are with RSS? Is there a minus point to have a relationship with RSS? Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Advani ji, Modi ji is also associated with RSS.”

Regarding the issue of Jagdeep Dhankhar, Amit Shah said that the talk should not be made. He was sitting in constitutional post. He has resigned due to his personal health problem, he was doing a good job. There are many positive stories in the country, should not always go behind such news.
