Amit Shah had said that English speakers will be ashamed, Rahul Gandhi’s answer- English is the most powerful language

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has given a big statement on Friday (July 25, 2025), emphasizing the need for education in English. Rahul Gandhi said that getting education in English is most important for the development of people of the weaker sections of the society.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was addressing the ‘OBC Partnership Justice Conference’ of the Congress held in Delhi on Friday (July 25, 2025). In his address, Rahul Gandhi said, “English is the most powerful language in India and is most important to carry forward development. I am not saying that you do not take Hindi language education, but our progress can be made due to English.” He said, “The most important reason in education for progress is English. The biggest determinant of success and progress in India is English education. Today English education in India is more influential than any regional language or education in Hindi.”

He said, “This is a shocking fact, but this is a truth. I am not saying that Hindi language is not important, regional language is not important. They are very important, but today the progress in India is determining English.”

Rahul Gandhi targeted BJP leaders

Addressing the program, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi also targeted BJP leaders. Rahul Gandhi said, “BJP people say that they want to erase English, so ask them in which school their children study? In which college do they study in London, in America, in America or elsewhere, they study in which language. They study in English and they talk about erasing English. So my question on this is that if their children can read in English medium schools and colleges, then why is the most poor person of India? Why should a Dalit, a tribal or an OBC be given reservation in private school too. “

Where our government will be there, there will be the first ethnic census- Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi also said that OBC lands are being taken away and given to Ambani and Adani. He said, “Wherever our government will be there, there will be the first ethnic census. Then after the census, the wall of 50 percent reservation will break there. In Telangana, we have shown this by doing this and will do it further.”
