Alert on rain in these two districts of Telangana, Meteorological Department warns, a few more days will be threatened

The floods caused by heavy rains in Ellareddy division of Kama Raredy district of Telangana have caused huge havoc. 10 laborers engaged in the bridge construction work in Boggu Gudise drain near Laxapur village of Nizam Sagar Mandal are caught in the flood waters. These laborers are waiting for help by climbing the water tank and are shouting for rescue. At the same time, there is also alert of heavy rain for Medak district.

According to the information, the road on the Kama Ruddy-Allareddy highway has been broken due to heavy rains, which has completely stalled the traffic in this area. Flood waters shed the road, causing contact in Laxapur village and surrounding areas. The district administration and disaster management teams are engaged in rescue operations, but due to strong current, relief work is being interrupted.

NDRF and local police alert

District Collector Ashish Sangwan of Kama Raredy said, ‘Our priority is to evacuate the trapped laborers. Teams of NDRF and local police have reached the spot and rescue operations are going on fast. He also informed that due to heavy rains, there is a situation of waterlogging in many low -lying areas in the district, for which the administration is on alert.

Rain also caused havoc in Medak district

At the same time, after Kamaareddy, rain has caused havoc in Medak district. The power supply in many villages of the district has come to a standstill due to 33 KV sub-station drowning in the flood waters in Pasupularu village. Roads, farms and rural infrastructure have been severely affected due to torrential rains for the last one week.

Important equipment used for power supply was submerged in water due to the rise of a drain near 33 KV sub-station in Pasupuleru village. Due to this, the operation of sub-station was completely closed. Through this sub-station, electricity is supplied to nearby villages like Narasapur, Turakapalli, Ergipalli.

Disaster Management Department released warning

Due to heavy rains, the village drowned in water, causing water to be filled with water. The villagers took shelter on the roofs to save their lives. Special teams have been appointed for emergency services, food and drinking water supply. Nevertheless, the local people are eagerly waiting for the restoration of electricity supply.

People have demanded that the government take immediate steps to deal with this disaster. The Disaster Management Department of Telangana has issued a warning of heavy rain for the next few days. According to the Meteorological Department, the rain in the Bay of Bengal may cause rain more intensity due to the low pressure area.
