A massive fire broke out in a night club in Satya Vihar area of Bhubaneswar on Friday (12 December 2025). After the fire, smoke was seen coming out of the building. However, it is not yet known how the fire broke out. The strong flames of fire not only damaged the night club, but also engulfed a furniture shop located next to it. Due to the presence of items like wood and sponge, the fire engulfed the shop more rapidly, due to which the scale of loss became larger. Local people said that as soon as the fire broke out, the smoke spread across the entire market area due to the change in wind direction, due to which visibility became extremely low for several minutes.
As soon as information about the incident was received, several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. The fire brigade quickly took charge and started trying to stop the fire from spreading to other shops and residential areas. At present, it is a matter of relief that no casualties have been reported yet.
