The Indian advertising industry has suffered a major setback. Piyush Pandey, popularly known as Ad Guru, has passed away. He breathed his last in Mumbai at the age of 70. Piyush entered the world of advertising at the age of 27. He started his career with his brother Prasun Pandey. Both used to lend their voices for radio jingles. He started working with advertising company Ogilvy in 1982. After this, in 1994 he was nominated to the board of Ogilvy. The important thing is that he was honored with the Padmashree Award by the Government of India in 2016.
