Before the ceasefire between Iran and America ends, President Donald Trump has extended it. He announced on Wednesday morning that he was extending the ceasefire until Iran presented a proposal. He said that this decision has been taken on the appeal of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir. Shahbaz-Munir had appealed that attacks on Iran be stopped until the proposal was presented by the Tehran leadership.
Donald Trump was continuously threatening Iran. He had said that if there is no agreement with Iran and the ceasefire ends without any solution, then he is ready for bombing. Looking at the rhetoric between the leaders of the two countries, it seemed that the ceasefire would not go ahead and soon a scene of devastation would be seen in the Middle East. Meanwhile, this decision of American President Trump is very important. The question arises that why was Trump forced to change his mind?

How did Trump change his mood?
However, the US President did not clarify what motivated him to extend the ceasefire, which was going to end soon. He mentioned two reasons in his Truth Social post. 1- Fragmentation of Iran. 2- Munir and Sharif’s appeal that Tehran should be allowed to present a proposal and till then the attacks should be stopped.
Shahbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to Trump
After Trump’s announcement, Shahbaz Sharif thanked the US President for accepting Pakistan’s request. He asked that the ceasefire be extended to allow ongoing diplomatic efforts to take their course.
On my personal behalf and on behalf of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, I sincerely thank President Trump for graciously accepting our request to extend the ceasefire to allow ongoing diplomatic efforts to take their course.

Did Iran reject Trump’s announcement?
An adviser to Iran’s parliament speaker and top negotiator Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf has reportedly rejected Trump’s announcement of extending the ceasefire, claiming that it was just a ploy to launch a surprise attack. According to news agency Reuters, the adviser also appealed for military action in response to the US’s continued blockade of Iranian ports.
