Exclusive: ‘TMC is corrupt, Bengal is not safe’, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan countered on Mamata’s allegations, told what will be the election issues of BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party has completed preparations for the West Bengal Assembly elections. She has entered the fray with the intention of giving a tough competition to Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress. The country’s Education Minister and veteran BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan had a special conversation with ABP News on many important issues related to Bengal elections. He accused TMC of corruption. Dharmendra Pradhan also mentioned the issues of BJP.

Dharmendra Pradhan says that BJP fights any election seriously and their aim is to give good governance and an alternative government to the people of Bengal. He said that in the last decade, especially after 2019, the BJP has emerged from a ‘number three party’ to an ‘influential force’ in Bengal and has secured around 38-40 per cent vote share. He is confident that this time BJP will get an opportunity to serve in Bengal.

On what issues will BJP contest elections in Bengal?

Dharmendra Pradhan said that many issues will be important for BJP in Bengal elections. He said that corruption and unemployment will be important issues. Along with this, there will also be issues like women’s safety, health and education, infiltration (allegations of local government giving resources to infiltrators), Sonar Bangla (making Bengal again the leading province of the country in the field of education, culture and art).

Counterattack on Mamata Banerjee’s allegations

He said that by saying this, Mamata Banerjee is not only insulting the Prime Minister but also the common man selling Jhalmuri in Bengal. According to him, when a person is nervous, he speaks such incoherent things.
