US Iran Talks 2.0: Suspense still persists regarding Islamabad 2.0 talks. Earlier this meeting was proposed on Tuesday, but now there is speculation that it will be postponed till Wednesday. However, there have been contradictory signals regarding this from Iran. Some MPs have termed the news of talks with America as completely false. On the other hand, US President Donald Trump has once again adopted a tough stance and warned that if the ceasefire ends, Iran will be bombed.
However, he also said that if Iran comes for talks and if the Islamabad talks are successful, then he can also meet the leaders of Iran in the future.
Pakistan trusts China
Meanwhile, Pakistan, which till now has been trying to play the role of mediator in this entire matter, is now openly expressing its trust in China. According to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, Jiang Zaidong appreciated Pakistan’s role in US-Iran peace efforts in the meeting with Ishaq Dar. Both the countries also emphasized on further strengthening the “evergreen” China-Pakistan partnership.
Germany said- accept the offer
On the other hand, Europe also seems to be active. German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has appealed to Iran to accept the proposal for talks in Islamabad and choose the diplomatic path in the interest of its people. Before the meeting of European foreign ministers in Brussels, he said that losing this opportunity could be harmful for Iran.

Amidst all this tension, the situation inside Iran also remains worrying. According to internet monitoring organization NetBlocks, widespread internet ban has been going on in the country for the last 53 days. The government has implemented a “tier system”, in which only a limited number of people and institutions are getting Internet access, while the general public is almost completely cut off from the global Internet.
This has not only affected normal life but has also had a serious impact on business and the economy. On one hand diplomatic efforts are continuing, while on the other hand threats, distrust and internal pressure are making the entire region more unstable.
