Gunpowder rained in Oman Sea! America attacked Iranian ship and Iran fired drones on US Navy

US Iran Tensions: Tension in the Gulf of Oman has now reached a very dangerous level. According to Iranian news agency Tasnim, Iran has started drone attacks targeting American military ships in response to the capture of an Iranian merchant ship by the US military. The incident has jeopardized the fragile two-week ceasefire in the region.

Iranian media claims that these drone attacks have been carried out in direct response to American actions. However, it is not yet clear how many drones Iran had sent and how much damage they have caused to American ships. Iran has called this a step taken to protect its sovereignty.

America claims- capture and firing on Iranian ship

The US military has said that it fired on an Iranian cargo ship, which was heading towards Bandar Abbas, Iran, and later completely captured it. US President Donald Trump said that this ship is “TOUSKA”, which tried to break the US blockade near the Strait of Hormuz. Trump wrote on Truth Social that American Marines boarded the ship and captured it. He said that the ship was already under US sanctions and its activities were suspicious. The US Central Command later confirmed this operation and also released a video of the capture of the ship.

Iran’s counterattack

Iran’s military has described this action as “armed piracy”. An Iranian spokesman said that the US military fired on the ship, damaged its navigation system and then captured it. Iran has warned that this action will be given a swift and strong response.

Crisis on ceasefire and impact on talks

This entire incident has raised serious questions on the ongoing ceasefire between America and Iran. Iran has clearly said that it will not participate in the second round of talks with America because it is accused of blockade, strict conditions and frequently changing stance.
