America considering date and place: report

According to the report of American media CNN, Donald Trump administration officials are internally discussing preparations for a possible second face-to-face meeting with Iran. This meeting can be held before the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran ends next week. Possible dates and locations are being considered by US officials, provided there is progress in ongoing talks with Iran and regional mediators in the coming days. According to the report, Geneva and Islamabad have emerged as possible venues for the next talks. The report also says that Turkey is trying to reduce the distance between America and Iran.

This time the meeting will not be held in Pakistan?

The Associated Press has quoted American officials as saying that a second round of talks could be held between America and Iran in Islamabad or Geneva. This talk is possible only after 16th April i.e. two days later. However, it has not been officially decided yet in which country and when the meeting will be held. During the talks held in Islamabad, the US demanded Iran to stop uranium enrichment for 20 years and remove its high-level enriched reserves from the country, while Iran proposed to reduce them in a shorter period and in a controlled manner. Due to differences on this issue, an agreement could not be reached. However, now it has also come to light that Iran is ready to make some compromise on nuclear enrichment.
