Amit Shah spoke in Kolkata before elections
Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave his sharp reaction to a statement given by Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) Bhawanipur candidate Mamata Banerjee in a press conference held in the capital Kolkata. Actually, Mamata Banerjee had told the people of Bengal that if BJP government is formed in West Bengal then they will not be able to eat fish and eggs. In response to this, Amit Shah said, do you believe so? If it is not so then why are you asking the question?
He said, ‘Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee propagates and spreads only lies. It is not at all true that after winning the elections the BJP government will come and end all the schemes of TMC. We have not ended the schemes of the old government anywhere. I want to tell you that on May 5, 2026, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government will come to power in West Bengal and together we will establish Ram Raj.
