Tamil Nadu News: The news of a tragic incident has come to light in the Velliangiri hill area near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where a college student died suddenly while climbing. This incident has deeply shocked not only his family, but also friends and local people.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Mukesh Kumar, son of Suresh of Dharmapuri district. He was a fifth year Pharm-D student at Seran College, Coimbatore. During his studies, he was living in a rented house in Telugupalayam area. It is being told that Mukesh along with some of his friends had gone out to climb Velliangiri hill for a spiritual purpose. He started this journey late at night at around 10 pm. A total of eight friends including Abhi and Mahendran were present with him.
Sudden chest pain, Mukesh fell unconscious
Everything was going normally during the climb, but when they reached the fifth hill area at around 2 in the morning, Mukesh suddenly felt severe chest pain. Before his friends could understand anything, he became unconscious and fell on the ground within a few minutes. Friends immediately tried to help, but due to lack of immediate medical facilities in the hilly area, he could not be saved and he died on the spot. This incident was very sad and shocking for everyone.
The body was brought down from the hill with the help of laborers.
As soon as the information was received, the temple administration and rescue team reached the spot. With the help of laborers carrying the doli, the work of bringing the body of the student down the hill path was started. Information about the incident has been given to Mukesh’s family. This accident has caused deep grief among his family members, friends and mountaineers.
