Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He claimed that this time Mamata Banerjee’s departure from the state is certain. This is the reason that at present their situation has become like that of a naughty cat scratching a pillar, which cannot be accepted at any cost in the current political scenario.
While talking to the news agency IANS on Friday (April 3, 2026), he said that you can guess the condition of law and order in West Bengal only by the fact that now even judicial officers are being kidnapped there. What would the government there be doing in such a situation? This can be easily guessed. Sadly, no steps are being taken in this direction.
BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi claimed that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee first attacked constitutional institutions in a planned manner. After this, they started kidnapping judicial officers, after which the situation in the state is not hidden from anyone.
He said that keeping all these situations in mind, Mamata Banerjee has realized that this time her departure from the state is certain. Now in such a situation, Mamata Banerjee is feeling that if she tries to target constitutional institutions like ED and CBI, then she will get political benefit from it, but I want to make one thing clear that this is her misunderstanding, which she should remove.
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Mamata Banerjee remained in power in West Bengal for so many years. In such a situation, it becomes their moral duty to present the account of the work done by them to the public.
Apart from this, he also targeted the statement of Asaduddin Owaisi. He said that whenever elections come near, some people get involved in secular activities. Now I want to make one thing clear that these people do not really want empowerment of the people of Muslim community, but want to exploit them. These are those people who want to use the people of Muslim community for their political gains, that is why they keep mentioning Miyan Biwi. Therefore, such people should understand one thing that no one is unsafe in India, neither the husband nor the wife. In such a situation, my advice to such people would be that they should not get involved in any kind of affair of any kind.
He said that such people have to understand one thing that at present our country is moving rapidly towards overall development, but some people are not able to accept this. That’s why these people are coming forward and trying to add communal color to every work related to development. I want to make one thing clear that now this kind of situation will not be accepted at any cost.
Besides, he also praised the working style of the Central Government at present. He said that the way our government has worked in times of crisis is undoubtedly praiseworthy. The more we praise it, the less it is.
He said that you should look at the situation of the entire world today. There is an outcry all around. There is devastation everywhere, but the Government of India, on the basis of its working style, is taking special care of the interests of people of every section of the society. At the same time, I want to make one more thing clear that our country has never advocated expansionist policies but developmental policies.
