Ola Electric has announced a sharp price cut for its flagship electric motorcycle, the Roadster The model is now priced at Rs 1,29,999, down from Rs 1,89,999, marking a reduction of Rs 60,000.The price drop comes as the company scales up production of its indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell. However, there’s a catch. Along with the new pricing, the company is moving away from regular open sales to a limited purchase window model. This means the motorcycle will be available only during specific time slots and in restricted quantities. The first such window is scheduled for April 3, between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, with more windows to be announced based on production availability.The Roadster
In March, Ola Electric reported over 150 per cent MoM growth in registrations, reaching 10,117 units. Daily orders also crossed 1,000 units in the last week of the month.The 9.1 kWh variant supports a 1000W portable charger, taking about 8.5 hours to charge from 0 to 80 per cent. It has a top speed of 125 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.7 seconds. Riders get three modes: Sport, Normal and Eco, along with a 4.3-inch color LCD display. On the safety front, it features a front disc and rear drum setup with single-channel ABS.
