US President Donald Trump seems to be in a mood for a ‘one-on-one’ fight with Iran regarding the ongoing war in the Middle East. In his address to the nation, Trump made it clear that Operation Epic Fury against Tehran is still going on. Also warned of major attacks on Iran in the next two to three weeks. Before this, news of US Vice President JD Vance sending a strong message to Iran through Pakistan has also come to light. However, nothing has been said officially regarding this.
JD Vance talks to Pakistan – report
During a conversation with Reuters, an expert on the matter said that US Vice President JD Vance had talked to the mediators of Pakistan regarding the Iran war on Tuesday itself. In which it was said that some of America’s conditions for ceasefire should be fulfilled. According to sources, Vance also gave a strong message to Pakistani mediators. Said that Trump cannot wait much longer. He warned that if a deal is not made by Tehran, military action against it will intensify.
Pakistan’s mediation offer
Pakistan is offering to become a mediator between America and Iran. According to BBC report, Islamabad had sent a 15-point peace plan to Tehran last week. However Iran rejected it. Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had reached Tehran to seek China’s support on the peace plan.
