Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated Phase-1 of Noida International Airport by pressing the remote button. He inaugurated the cargo terminal and laid the foundation stone of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility to be developed in an area of 40 acres. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and others were present during the program.
He said that with the construction of Jewar Airport, the pressure of Delhi Airport will be reduced and there will be a balance of development in NCR. Noida, Greater Noida, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Agra, Buldanshar, Faridabad and surrounding areas are going to get huge benefits. This is going to bring new opportunities for farmers, youth and others. Not only will planes fly to the world from here, it will also become a symbol of developed Uttar Pradesh. This program is a symbol of the new mood of India.

Due to which, there is a crisis of food items, petrol, diesel, gas, fertilizers and other essential commodities in many countries. Every country is trying to face this crisis. This area is also becoming the hub of two freight corridors. Connectivity of North India’s Bengal and Gujarat with the sea has improved. Both the corridors meet each other in Dadri. This means that whatever the farmers grow here, they will be able to send it to every corner of the world. UP is becoming an attraction for the investors of the world.
Expressing gratitude to the farmers who donated land for the airport, he said that a new era of development has started with their contribution. This will give a boost to food processing. The agricultural products here will be able to reach the world markets in a better way. The ethanol produced from sugarcane by farmers has reduced the country’s dependence on crude oil. If there was no production of ethanol, the country would have had to import 45 million barrels of crude oil from abroad every year. The hard work of farmers has given relief to the country. The country benefited from ethanol. Farmers have not only benefited from this, but currency worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore has also been saved.

In such a situation, various companies have ordered hundreds of airplanes. Complete arrangements for maintenance, repair and overhaul are also being made. Earlier 85 percent of this had to be sent abroad by ships. Now India will be established as an MRO centre. Namo Bharat train is completing the time of hours in minutes. In the last 11 years, the infrastructure budget has been increased more than six times. In these years, Rs 17 lakh crore has been spent on highways and expressways. More than one lakh kilometers of highways have been constructed.
