Now BJP has hit back at Congress’s criticism regarding PM Modi’s speech in Israel Parliament. BJP has claimed that the opposition parties are unhappy because Rahul Gandhi is ageing. There is no possibility of him becoming Prime Minister.
Addressing a press conference at BJP headquarters, Sambit Patra said that Rahul Gandhi and his entire family are compromised. He also sought clarification from the Congress as to why Jawaharlal Nehru had gifted Indian territories to China and Pakistan during his first term.
Sambit Patra said- PM Modi’s address in Knesset is a matter of pride
Sambit Patra said that it is a matter of pride for the country, people stood up and applauded our PM Narendra Modi during his address in the Knesset. People were raising slogans of Modi-Modi. We didn’t ask them to do this. It was an instinctive reaction. This was the love of the Israeli people for the Prime Minister.
Apart from this, PM Modi said that in recognition of his extraordinary contribution in strengthening the strategic relations between India and Israel, Modi was honored with the Speaker of the Knesset Medal. Congress is sad about these things. They don’t have power. Rahul Baba wants to get power. They are getting older. They won’t get it.
Congress should be sad: Sambit Patra
Sambit Patra said that Congress should be sad. Let them be sad. Patra said that Nehru had refused to take a permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council. If India had accepted this proposal, China would have been angry.
Seeking answers from Congress, Patra asked whether China and Pakistan had given bribe to Nehru? Why did Nehru reject a permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council? Was he bribed for this? Patra said in a sarcastic tone that Chacha Nehru was compromised. He should be called Chacha Compromise.
What did Congress say on PM’s visit?
Earlier, Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma had said that India should not be seen supporting a regime which has committed genocide in Gaza. Thousands of helpless Palestinians were left in a state of starvation.
