The country’s largest private airline company Indigo is once again in controversy due to its poor services and mismanagement. The latest case is of BJP MP from Chandni Chowk, Praveen Khandelwal. MP and General Secretary of All India Traders Association (CAIT) Praveen Khandelwal shared his experience regarding travel with IndiGo. He has described traveling by Indigo airline as a very shameful experience.
BJP MP Khandelwal made a post on social media platform I reached my destination, but my luggage was not found.
Worrying about valuables and documents
He further said that I have not been given any clear information about my luggage. This has caused me great mental anguish, severe inconvenience and financial loss, as I have to purchase urgently needed clothes and personal items. The BJP MP said that there are important and valuable documents in my luggage, which makes the situation even more worrying. This kind of carelessness and such poor system of luggage management is not acceptable at all.
Answer sought from Indigo CEO
Praveen Khandelwal further said that if a sitting MP is having such an experience then the plight of common passengers cannot be imagined. Tagging IndiGo CEO Peter Albers on his post, he wrote that I need immediate clarification.
Demand for intervention from Union Minister
Apart from this, he also tagged Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Nayud in his social media post and wrote that Honorable @RamMNK, this shows a very worrying situation in the operational standards of IndiGo. Khandelwal has demanded immediate intervention from the Union Minister.
