New Delhi. Now breaking the rules on the road can be heavy because the government is going to tighten electronic monitoring across the country. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highway has filed a SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) in the Supreme Court, which states that now hi-tech cameras will be monitored on all those who use mobiles while driving, do not wear seat belts or helmets, drive in the wrong direction or are seen eating and drinking during driving. A video of those who break the traffic rule will also be recorded so that it can be shown as evidence.
According to SOP, now all states and union territories will have to implement electronic monitoring. These cameras will also send an alert in real time so that the traffic police or transport department can take immediate action. At the same time, those who change the phone number or address to avoid the invoice repeatedly, are also preparing for strictness against them. The government will now give a one -time chance of a three -month opportunity in which the vehicle owners will be able to update their information. After this, if someone does not update the information, then he will not get any driving or transport service.
Not only this, instructions have also been given in the SOP that in case of disagreeing with the traffic challan, the vehicles will be able to appeal through the online system. This entire system is being designed in such a way that those driving in the wrong direction and those who break the rules can be identified without delay, and at the same time it should be ensured that essential services – such as ambulances or fire brigades – have no effect. This new system is expected to rein in violation of traffic rules and strengthen road safety.
