Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) had bought Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman in the IPL 2026 auction. After the controversy over this increased, BCCI has directed to expel the Bangladeshi player from KKR. Now on this matter, narrator Aniruddhacharya lodged a protest on Sunday (January 4, 2026). He has also made strong comments on the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. Apart from this, narrator Aniruddhacharya has also raised questions on Bollywood and said that the people there consider themselves God.

When narrator Aniruddhacharya was asked whether KKR’s decision to drop Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman from the team following BCCI’s instructions was right or wrong, he said, ‘We believe that the one who plays with you, eats with you, is a friend. Who is our friend? One who burns our Hindus, who kills our Sanatanis, how can they be friends? Why should we play cricket with those who hate our Hindus so much, who hate our Sanatanis so much? Those who bought Bangladeshi players should be questioned. You are buying players for Rs 9 crore because you have money, but don’t you see that the Indians who have given you name and fame are hurt by the fact that you are giving crores of rupees to people who are brutally killing Hindus?
He said, ‘By earning money from India, you are sending money to those people who hate Hindus a lot. Doesn’t this prove that you (Shah Rukh Khan) also hate Hindus? If you loved Hindus you would have definitely thought about this. How can we play cricket with those who are harming Hindus? Some may argue that sports should not be involved in such matters, but how can we ignore these? What does religion teach us? We should follow religion.
Question: Do you think Shahrukh Khan’s team was unaware that buying the player could spark outrage in India?
answer: People of Bollywood consider themselves God. They feel that whatever they do, no one can harm them because Bollywood is very powerful. They have no shortage of money, so they are full of pride that no one can touch them. They openly promote gutkha and liquor. They teach immorality to the society. They promote cigarettes, gutkha and gambling. Has anyone really been able to stop them? Who has harmed them? Bollywood means power. They are powerful people in their own right. What can common people like you and me do? Bollywood means power. These people are powerful in themselves. What can common people like us do? This decision was taken out of pride, but when the public raised its voice against it, Shahrukh Khan had to reverse his decision.
He said, ‘They earn money by selling their films to the people of India and then distribute that money elsewhere. It is the people of India who make him a superstar, while his heart beats for Bangladeshis. Is this not a betrayal of us? This is deceit. You have played with the faith of Hindus and broken their trust. This is called betrayal.
Question: Some people and political groups claim that the Muslim community is facing discrimination in India. What are your views on this issue?
answer: We oppose the ideology present within some Muslims which promotes hatred towards Hindus. Why is there hatred towards Hindus? Hindus do not hate Muslims. We do not oppose you, nor do we say that you are wrong, but we oppose the misdeeds, the acts in which Hindus are being murdered, their throats are being slit and people are being burnt alive. Ask Muslims whether they support this genocide?
Question: Janata Unnayan Party founder Humayun Kabir, who was earlier in TMC, has announced that he will build the Babri Masjid in Murshidabad, West Bengal. What is your opinion on this?
answer: I have also heard from Muslims that Babri Masjid did not exist before Babar. Muslims themselves should consider that when did Babri Masjid come into existence? Those who attacked India tortured the daughters and sisters of this land. How many Mughal rulers insulted Indian women? You eat the food of this country and drink its water, so should such buildings be built in the name of foreign invaders which hurt the faith of Sanatan followers?
He said, ‘Mosques can of course be built, but why only after destroying temples? We never demolished the mosque for any temple. First they demolished our temple and built a mosque, then we had to demolish the mosque and rebuild the temple. Why can’t we live together in peace and harmony? What is the need to fight? If fighting is the only option, then fight directly and fix a date for the war. The general public will have to pay the price for this. I don’t think temple-mosque politics is right.
Question: In recent times, many such incidents are coming to light, in which people allegedly associated with Bhim Army are seen burning Manu Smriti. What is your opinion about this?
answer: Those who burn Manu Smriti are completely ignorant and misguided. What can be said about ignorant people? Vedas, Puranas, Shastras, religious texts and Constitution, who are these for? Law can be read only by those who know how to read. What will those who do not know how to read read? Geeta and Ramayana can be studied only by those who know how to read. If you don’t even know how to read Manusmriti, how will you understand its meaning? And if you haven’t read it, why are you burning it?
He said, ‘I saw a video of a Dalit brother, he was also raising slogans of Jai Bhim, Jai Bhim, but he said something very meaningful. He said, look, I have studied Manu Smriti a little and I have not found anything in it due to which it should be burnt. Dalits have been misled by some people, due to which all this started. Those who are misleading our Dalit community are none other than some Muslims. Some Muslims tell our Dalit brothers that they stand with them. If Muslims are such great well-wishers of Dalits, then why did the first Law Minister of Pakistan (Jogendra Nath Mandal) have to return to India after three-four years? He was the Law Minister, yet the Muslims there removed him from the post. Dipu Chandra Das, who was brutally killed in Bangladesh, was a Dalit youth. Why was he killed by the Muslim mob? People should think about this.
