Tamil Nadu News: Police have caught 4 minors involved in the act for making Instagram reels in the case of attack on a North Indian man in Tiruttani area of Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu government has advised the public not to spread misinformation or videos about this incident on social media.
Police registered the case
On December 27, a person from outside the state was reported attacked by some people near Tiruttani Railway Colony in Tiruvallur district. Apart from this, a case was immediately registered at Tiruttani Police Station on the basis of the complaint given by the victim. Investigation revealed that the victim was a resident of Odisha state. The police provided necessary medical aid and proper security arrangements to the injured person.

According to the information received during the investigation, it was confirmed that this attack was deliberately carried out by 4 teenagers in conflict with the law (CICL) with the intention of becoming popular by uploading it on Instagram. The police, who were engaged in a continuous search operation, caught the four minors concerned on December 28. After this, all four of them were presented before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB).
Of these, three minors were sent to the security home in Chengalpattu. Only one minor was granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board. Appropriate and immediate action is being taken against them as per law.
