All India Imam Association chief Maulana Sajid Rashidi on Saturday (December 27, 2025) made a big claim condemning the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. He said that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is behind the killing of people of Hindu community in Bangladesh.
Along with this, Maulana Rashidi said on the statement of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina that 1,400 Hindus were killed during Sheikh Hasina’s tenure, from which mouth is she criticizing the present government?
Maulana Sajid Rashidi said, ‘Sheikh Hasina is only doing politics on the issue of Bangladesh, this is the work of political people. If Sheikh Hasina is clean then go to your country, handle whatever cases there are. What is happening in Bangladesh should be condemned.
It is wrong to call the country Lynchistan – Maulana Rashidi
At the same time, on Iltija Mufti’s statement on Lynchistan, he said, ‘Mehbooba Mufti is the one who formed the government with BJP. Talking too much will suit the BJP only, but it is not good for the country to talk like this. We must raise the voice of our people. It is wrong to call the country Lynchistan. If the mentality of some people is such that they are lynching, then those who are doing it should be given the harshest punishment.
Maulana Rashidi spoke on Shashi Tharoor’s statement on PM Modi
Whereas on Congress leader Shashi Tharoor’s statement regarding PM Modi, Maulana Rashidi said, ‘It is absolutely correct. The Prime Minister does not belong to any community or party, he is the PM of the country. Foreign policy is done keeping the country in front, it is not a manifesto of any party. The truth is that ISI is handling what is happening in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is taking revenge for 1971. ISI is behind the killing of Hindus, the government should not forget this.
On the condemnation by the Ministry of External Affairs on the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, Maulana Sajid Rashidi said that this is a very good step and it should have happened. What is happening in Bangladesh is shameful and condemnable. However, no matter how much it is condemned, it is less.
