Hindu organizations in India are extremely angry after the murder of Hindu youth Dipu Das in Bangladesh. On Tuesday (December 23, 2025), a protest was held outside the Bangladesh High Commission in protest against the incident and in Kolkata too, Hindu organizations took to the streets to protest outside the Deputy High Commission. However, when they were stopped from protesting, they clashed with the police. Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Mahumad Madani has also strongly condemned this incident.
Mahmood Madani said that if the perpetrator of the crime is a Muslim and the person on whom it is committed is a non-Muslim, then the crime increases further. On the murder of Dipu Das, Mahmood Madani said that it is very shameful, when Islam and Muslims do such things, we look down and the amount of condemnation of this incident is less.
Maulana Mahmood Madani said, ‘First of all, there should be no right to kill anyone in a civilized society. No matter how much wrong someone has done, there is a process to punish him, do it according to that process. Then, if the perpetrator is a Muslim and the one with whom it is being done is a non-Muslim, then his crime increases further, so we punish it strictly and want to tell the people of Bangladesh that in their country it is a big thing to kill someone, even if someone is tortured, Islam does not allow it.
He said that it is unfortunate that fundamentalism is increasing in Asia and it should be countered, something should be done to reduce it. This is an important thing. On December 18, Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das was beaten to death by a mob on charges of blasphemy in Baluka, Bangladesh. After the murder his body was set on fire. Deepu used to work in a textile factory. So far 12 people have been arrested in this case.
