Chirag Paswan gave important statements in the INDIA 2047 Conclave regarding the next five years and alliance issues in Bihar politics. He openly expressed his opinion on the recent election victory in Bihar, unity of NDA and coalition politics. He also gave clarity on the alleged meeting with Congress and the leadership of Nitish Kumar.

Chirag’s statement on Bihar’s victory
Chirag Paswan said, ‘RJD has been completely wiped out after the victory of Bihar. RJD was taking advantage of the scattered NDA. NDA came united and the results are in front of you all. He said that smaller allies are often underestimated in coalition politics. Giving an example, he said that a party with one MP was given 5 seats and a party with zero MLAs was given 29 seats, out of which 26 were lost.

No conditions on Deputy CM or other posts
Chirag made it clear that he never had any condition to become Deputy CM. He said, ‘I had no conditions before and neither after. I am in this alliance because of my Prime Minister. PM means a lot to me.

Rejected news of any meeting with Congress
When asked about the alleged meeting with Congress, Chirag said, ‘I do not know whether any such meeting took place. Those who know me will not be able to dare like this. Leave such narrative.

Nitish Kumar’s statement on leadership
When asked about Nitish Kumar’s successor, Chirag said, ‘Who will be Nitish ji’s successor is a matter of his party. But for the next five years, Bihar government will run under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.

Question of becoming CM of Bihar
When asked if he wanted to become the Chief Minister of Bihar, Chirag said, ‘I have come into politics because of Bihar. I worry why Biharis have to go to other states. After becoming MP for the third time, it was understood that to make Bihar first and Bihari first, we would have to go to Bihar. Expressing his affection towards his party, Chirag Paswan said, ‘For me, my party is like my mother. Has handled the party in adverse circumstances.
