Due to a technical glitch in the check-in system at many airports in the country on Tuesday (December 2), flight schedules were adversely affected. However, the technical teams of the Airport Authority and the airlines worked quickly and resolved the problem within a short time and the situation became normal again.
Air India issued an official statement late in the evening saying that the third-party system that caused the malfunction has now been completely repaired. The airline said that the check-in process is going smoothly at all the airports across the country and all our flights are operating as per the schedule. Air India also expressed gratitude to the passengers for their cooperation and maintaining patience.

Earlier, Air India had informed on social media platform The airline said that airport teams were working continuously to ensure hassle-free check-in for passengers. The company had appealed to the passengers to check the status of their flight on the Air India website before reaching the airport and keep extra time for the journey.
The third-party system has been fully restored, and check-in at all airports is functioning normally. All our flights are operating as per schedule.

Check-in systems stalled at many airports
On Tuesday evening, pictures of check-in system stalled and long queues were seen from many airports, which caused inconvenience to the passengers. Air India shared the first update at 9.49 pm, in which the delay was confirmed. Just an hour later, at 10.49 pm, the airline said in another post that the technical glitch has been completely resolved and all processes are working normally. The airline reiterated that all flights are now operating as per schedule and the safety and convenience of passengers is the top priority.
