After the crushing defeat in Bihar elections, Congress is now busy in the next elections. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge called an important strategic meeting in Delhi on Monday. In this, the upcoming Uttarakhand assembly elections were discussed. Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi was also present in this meeting. From this it is believed that Congress is no longer in a mood to repeat any mistake in the elections. It is believed that Congress has geared up ahead of time for the elections to be held in 2027.
Many senior Congress leaders were present in the meeting. Many top leaders including in-charge general secretary Kumari Shailaja, co-in-charge Manoj Yadav, state president Ganesh Godiyal, election campaign committee chairman Pritam Singh, senior leaders Harak Singh Rawat and Karan Mahara were present.

In this meeting, Rahul Gandhi gave a clear message to all the leaders. He said that there should be no scope for any kind in the coming elections. While giving instructions, he said that the organization should be strengthened at the grassroots level. Vote theft should be closely monitored. Elections should be fought on a large scale by making inflation and unemployment the main issue of the election campaign. Also, Rahul Gandhi has instructed the leaders to ensure that the names of eligible voters are not deleted in the SIR process and to pay special attention to this process. He has talked about giving priority to the basic and vital issues of the people. This is the first time that Congress is entering into the fray after deciding its election strategy well in advance.

After this meeting, it is believed that Congress has formally started the campaign for the 2027 elections in Uttarakhand.
