The Chief Justice said that the study of law is as deep as it is inspiring. He told the students, “Remember, you are the students who decide the direction of the future. Our Constitution is safe only as long as your morality maintains it with respect.”
Apart from Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, Minister of State for Law Arjun Ram Meghwal arrived on this occasion. During this, he formally inaugurated the International Muting Academy for Advocacy, Negotiation, Dispute, Education in the university.
Chief Justice Surya Kant said that honesty is not just an ornament of personality, but is the discipline that makes justice firm. Maintains reputation. The path of justice and practice of law should always be in accordance with this ideal.
Expressing serious concern over the challenges of the digital age, the Chief Justice said that in today’s time, distorted videos, misinformation and fabricated online campaigns have made it difficult to discern the truth.
He said, “In such times, honesty and truth are not just an ideal, but the basis of existence and the only true path to success. He said that while considering any petition, the court does not just look at the facts and law, but also remembers the basic promise of the Constitution that we have accepted as a nation.”
He said that doing justice keeping in mind the higher objectives of the Constitution paves the way for building a better India.
Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal, present in the program, threw detailed light on the important historical process of finalizing the national flag. He told that in the meeting of the ‘Flag Committee’ there was a proposal to place a spinning wheel in the middle of the tricolor, which was approved by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar protested. Dr. Ambedkar clearly said, if the charkha is kept, the flag will become a symbol of a party and not of the country.”
